I grew up in Akron, Ohio, with a guitar in my hands and a notebook full of songs. That curiosity took me to San Francisco, where I learned how great work actually gets done: on the line in fine dining kitchens, on the business side of music publishing and licensing, in a woodshop designing and building furniture, and leading customer service teams where every problem had a person behind it.
The best results come from understanding how something really works before trying to improve it.
Those years taught me that lesson again and again. I went back to school to sharpen it, earning a bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Decision Science from San Francisco State University.
Back home in Ohio, I built a career in supply chain and finance analytics, and I bring the same mindset to everything I develop, from Land with Finance to Grade the Gov and Artificial News Network.
